“They haven’t spoken for a long time”: Kate Middleton Was Forced To Break The Ice With Meghan Markle, Had A Polite Exchange With Meghan Before the Queen’s Funeral

Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle reportedly had to break the ice before Queen Elizabeth’s funeral process. Queen Elizabeth II, the United Kingdom’s longest-serving monarch peacefully passed away at the age of 96 at the Balmoral Castle in Scotland on 8th September 2022. The Royal Family obviously gathered to pay their final respects despite the complications in their relationships. Her eldest son, Prince Charles, who is now King Charles III, said the death of his beloved mother was “a moment of great sadness.” Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, unfortunately, couldn’t spend time with the queen during her final hours but made it to her funeral ceremony.

Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle had a polite exchange

A source revealed that Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle “broke the ice” before Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. The source further added the two were “being cordial towards each other,”

“They hadn’t spoken for a long time, until that walkabout in Windsor two days after the Queen died. They had a polite exchange just before it and that broke the ice.”

Queen Elizabeth II came up with the idea of the “royal walkabout” in the 1970s.

Meghan Markle is reportedly working on a memoir

In one of her recent interviews, the Duchess of Sussex dropped subtle hints that she might be working on her own memoir. It is confirmed that Prince Harry’s memoir will be released very soon but there are no confirmations of Meghan Markle’s memoir.

Royal author and biographer Meghan Mccain recently accused Meghan Markle and Prince Harry of creating unnecessary drama because they are jealous of the spotlight that is always on Kate Middleton And Prince William.

Prince William refused to meet Prince Harry

Earlier this month, Duke of Cambridge Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton reportedly refused to meet his brother Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle as they were worried Prince Harry might leak more sensitive information about the Royal Family.

A source, at the time, said that Prince William and Kate Middleton will not meet the Duke and Duchess of Sussex until they know the contents of the couple’s upcoming Netflix documentary. The two are reportedly working on a documentary about their life in the US and it will focus on their “love story.” The Royal Family is worried as the documentary might reveal dark secrets about the family.
