Rust movie actor Alec Baldwin is in the news for a fatal shooting case that happened last year. An FBI report revealed the actor was holding the gun that took the life of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. While rehearsing the scene, the actor was trying to use the prop gun which had live ammunition which got discharged which lead to the death of the rising 42-year-old cinematographer who was working on the sets in Mexico. FBI report that claims Alec Baldwin must have pulled the trigger.

Right after the incident, Mexico police reached the location and their body cameras recorded the haphazard situation of the shooting location. However, months after the incident a new FBI report obtained by ABC News confirms that the producer and actor of the film, Alec Baldwin pulled the trigger during the shooting. The report concluded by saying that a gunshot could not have been fired with someone pulling the trigger and it was 64-year-old, Alec Baldwin who pulled the trigger.

The actor gave his first interview since the fatal accident on the set of the movie that has created controversy on ABC News with George Stephanopoulos. The actor went on to say, “I did not pull the trigger. I would never point a gun on anyone or pull a trigger on them.” The actor later said he “would go to any lengths to undo what happened”.

The director of the movie tells the local police that he heard a “loud bang“. “It felt like someone had kicked me in the shoulder and then I was down on my ass”, said the director of the movie – Joel Souza. Moments after the fatal gun firing, Halyna Hutchins was airlifted to a nearby hospital where she was declared as dead. Police of the nearby region raced their way to the sprawling desert ranch in New Mexico that showed the chaos and the mismanagement of the production unit.
