Kim Kardashian received backlash on social media after the socialite claimed that her looks are “attainable” and she isn’t responsible for contributing to an unrealistic beauty standard. People on social media trolled her claiming that her looks are “attainable” or accessible only if people have her wealth and privilege.
In her recent interview, Kim Kardashian talked about her appearance
In an interview with Allure, she revealed that she gets laser treatments done at night after her family goes to bed and would even consider eating “poop” if it would make her look younger. When she asked whether she ever feels “guilty” or “responsible” about her active participation in influencing the standard of beauty, the SKIMS founder denied it and said that the standard she’s set is “attainable”.
She talked about her own “mentality,” saying that she never looked up to those on TV or in magazines, but rather tried to “be herself” and tried to “find beauty in everything”.
The interview began with Kim Kardashian offering cosmetic procedure suggestions to the interviewer and then throughout the interview, the reality star claimed that, although she is at peace, she would “still do anything to look and feel youthful”.

It’s safe to say that people were not happy with Kim Kardashian’s claims and even accused her of being “tone-deaf” with her comments.
She also recently stated that her new skincare line is not for everybody as it is “more prestige”. She told The New York Times, “It’s definitely more prestige, and in order to get the types of ingredients that I would not really miss out on, it was kind of a necessity,” suggesting that many people will not be able to afford Skin by Kim.
