In the lawsuit filed in Albany County, the alleged victim signed an affidavit last month which brought this case to light. As per the documents, Mike Tyson met the woman in the early 1990s at September’s Nightclub. For the unversed, this nightclub was a popular Central Avenue spot that was recognized as one of the former boxer’s favorite hangout places in the Capital Region.

She revealed that she and her friend met him and his limousine driver at the nightclub. The documents further revealed the incident when Tyson allegedly asked the ladies to join him at a party.

The alleged victim and her friend parted ways as she had to drop off her car which is when the former boxer committed the alleged crime. When he was alone with the victim in his limousine, he began “touching” her and tried to kiss her as per her affidavit. Even though she clearly asked him to stop his actions, he did not listen and allegedly r*ped her.

While the report did not clarify many details about the alleged incident, the alleged victim is demanding a sum for the suffering she went through from that incident.

As per the affidavit, the alleged victim has been suffering from the incident since then. The physical, psychological, and emotional injury she got at the time included “feelings of shame, depression, violent tendencies, and addiction”.

The alleged tragic incident has left a great impact on her personal life which is why she is demanding $5 million in damages.

She also opened up about the media fear she might face once her identity gets disclosed. She stated in her affidavit,

“This traumatic experience has caused me everlasting damage and I would like to preserve my privacy in this matter of a sensitive and highly personal nature,” adding, “Tyson is a famous celebrity and I know I would be attacked by the media and all of his fans.”

She has also mentioned facing difficulty developing healthy relationships with men after the incident. Not just that, the alleged incident has also caused her to experience panic attacks and flashbacks. Though this case does not include a civil complaint.

This new case against Tyson happened around the same time as the July 1991 assault in Indianapolis. The 56-year-old personality was arrested on the allegations of r*ping 18-year-old Desiree Washington. He was convicted the next year and sentenced to six years in prison, although he was released on parole after three years.
