Thor: Love and Thunder Trailer Secretly Hid Marvel’s 5 Strongest Cosmic Gods

The Official Trailer of Thor: Love and Thunder has been launched by Marvel Entertainment on 24 March 2022. The video has received more than 24 Million views with the comments flooded by excited marvel fans.  Thor ( Film series) consists of the follow up of four movies so far- Thor (2011), Thor: The Dark World (2013), Thor: Raganarok (2017), and Thor: Love and Thunder (2022). The series is a Marvel Production Project and is distributed by Paramount Pictures. It is based on the Marvel comics and is led by Chris Hemsworth as the main character, Thor.

The trailer suggests Thor striving to find inner peace and to stop Gorr, the God Butcher from killing all the gods. The film brings Jane Foster back, seen lifting the mighty Mjolnir. This suggests that she might be the worthy one to carry the title of the ‘Goddess of Thunder’.

Marvel comics have always set presentations of mythological references in their stories. Similarly, the newly released trailer of Thor: Love and Thunder could have hidden 5 of the strongest Cosmic Gods.

1) Uatu the Watcher

The Watcher follows an Oath which keeps it away from interfering in the happenings of the realities he observes. 2) Death

Death, also called as ‘Mistress Death’ or ‘ Lady Death’ is merely the personification of the abstract term of death indeed. It made its first appearance in Captain Marvel #26, June 1973. It usually represents as a skeleton figure wearing a cloak in the Marvel Comics. The character often portrayed as a woman, was intended to encourage Thanos and his snap. The entity owns nigh power and knowledge; occupies in the Realm of Death. 

3) The Living Tribunal

The Living Tribunal is one of the most strongest of the cosmic entities. It appeared first in Strang Tales #157, June 1967. The Tribunal looks after the realities of the Multiverse, the existing universe and rest of the alternate Universes. It carries out lawful corrections and represents as the Judge. Also called as the Living Trinity, it balances the good and the evil and maintains justice. The entity has existed since the creation of the Universe and continues to live. 

4) Eon


Eon was an cosmic entity which was associated with the concept of Time. Yet, being now a deceased character, the film could revive the the entity’s powers and remembrance. Eon was known as the universal keeper of Cosmic Awareness and was extremely knowledgeable. It protected the universe along with his appointed champions from its own dimension, called as the the Eonverse. He was a progeny to eternity and the parent of Epoch, the cosmic.

5) Infinity

Infinity is the cosmic entity that stands as an entirety for the space and its occupants. It was born and existed since the Big Bang and is able to mainpulate both time and space. Hse is the sister of the Eternity and the counterpart to Oblivion. Thanos, with the Infinity Gauntlet, ranked Infnity the top of all the rest of the abstract entities. Infinity made a debut appearance in May 2013. 

As per reports, Akosia Sabet has been announced to be a part of the new Marvel film for the role of the Goddess Bast. In an officially released still from the film, there seems to be a council of gods with Akosia Sabet. She has been seen wearing an Egyptian look with a headpiece of cat ears. This hints at a reference and a possible inclusion  to another cosmic entity Bast, the Panther God.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to release on July 8, 2022, in the theaters.
