Thor: Love And Thunder Will Bid Goodbye To Loki

Loki may be technically a villain but he is one of the most beloved characters of the MCU. The credit for Loki’s popularity does go the smart writing but also to actor Tom Hiddleston. Hiddleston seamlessly brought the character to life from the comic books. But it looks like Loki and Tom Hiddleston might be exiting the MCU soon.

His replacement can be a lot of people, one of which is this version:

Loki first appeared in Thor and since then he has consistently appeared in the MCU. Apart from the Thor movies, Loki has been the major antagonist of the first Avengers movie too. Loki was last seen escaping with the Space Stone in Avengers: Endgame. It is being said that Hiddleston will be written out of the MCU in Thor: Love and Thunder. Instead, the Loki show will supposedly introduce Kid Loki as his replacement. But there’s apparently a twist. Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder will see Loki become stuck as his teen self and that will effectively give MCU give the gateway to write him out. But this does leave a loophole since Loki should be able to turn back into his adult form anytime he wants. How do they handle that, remains to be seen.

But it’s not Marvel Studios who are eager to bid Hiddleston goodbye. Instead it’s been a general feeling that Hiddleston is ready to move on with his career. But whatever the reason may be, for now we can all look forward to the Loki series.
