Did you know that Infinity War and Thor co-star, Idris Elba doesn’t know what MCU stands for!

This might come in surprising for fans as Elba portrayed the Asgardian Heimdall in all three Thor films before Thanos killed him in Infinity War. However, there’s still a chance that he might return in Avengers 4.

The actor is set to make his directorial debut with Yardie and while speaking with Yahoo Movies U.K., when the actor was asked about MCU, Elba responded with, “What’s MCU?” before he was informed that it stands for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, he laughed it off and confessed,

“Oh, right! I have heard of that before. I thought that it’s Manchester United.. but don’t worry about it.”

All these terms like DCEU and MCU are pretty commonly used in the pop-culture world but Elba’s comment proves that he did not indulge himself into the MCU as much as other stars like Robert Downey Jr and his co-star Chris Hemsworth.

However, as teased by Marvel President Kevin Feige the death of Heimdall will most probably be one of the permanent deaths in Infinity War.
