A new behind-the-scenes photo from the upcoming Arrowverse crossover event Crisis On Infinite Earths. However, this crossover reveals our first look at Tom Cavanagh as Pariah. “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” is the forthcoming five-show crossover. Cavanagh’s Pariah stands among several longtime Arrowverse heroes, which includes the likes of Superman, Black Lightning, and Iris West-Allen. There are newcomers as well, the Monitor, Ryan “Atom” Choi and Kingdom Come. The group gathers on the bridge of the Waverider. Waverider is the time-traveling ship from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

Don’t You Understand That There Is No Hope In Running? – Pariah, Crisis on Infinite Earths, 1985

“As part of ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’ crossover, Tom [Cavanagh] will be playing the role of Pariah as part of the crossover,” The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace revealed at the show’s Comic-Con International panel. “He works for the Anti-Monitor.”

“In the original miniseries, it’s Pariah who is very much integral in releasing the Anti-Monitor.”

In Marv Wolfman and George Pérez’s Crisis on Infinite Earths, Pariah summons the Anti-Monitor which leads to events of the comic. Pariah is the greatest scientist in his world. His experiment to view the creation of the universe catches the Anti-Monitor’s attention. His brother, the Monitor, makes the prison. The Anti-Monitor uses Pariah’s experiment as a tool to free himself from prison. Although, the Monitor snatched Pariah away from his world, just before the Anti-Monitor destroyed it, giving the Anti-Monitor enough power to begin his quest to annihilate the multiverse.

Pariah’s New Costume

In this new behind-the-scenes photo, we get a nice group shot of much of the confirmed cast for Crisis On Infinite Earths that includes Grant Gustin, Hartley Sawyer, Cress Williams, Osric Chau, Tyler Hoechlin, LaMonica Garrett, Candice Patton, Brandon Routh, Aubrey Anderson, and David Ramsey. The most outstanding feature of the photo is that we see Tom Cavanagh wearing his official costume as Pariah.

You can check out the new behind-the-scenes Crisis On Infinite Earths photo featuring Tom Cavanagh as Pariah down below:

Pariah made his debut in the first issue of the Crisis On Infinite Earths comics in April 1985. Pariah’s alter ego is Kell Mossa who describes himself as a brilliant scientist. He has an expansive intellect and is invulnerable to physical harm. Kell can teleport to the focal point of any catastrophic event. But, Tom Cavanagh’s Pariah is yet another parallel universe version of Harrison Wells.

The seventh season finale of  Arrow set up Oliver Queen’s role in the next crossover. Oliver joins the Monitor on a mission to warn other worlds of the crisis. Oliver makes this arrangement in order to save the lives of both The Flash and Supergirl.
