Tom Holland Reveals New Details On The Multiple Suits Debuting In Spider-Man: Far From Home
Spider-Man: Far From Home is set to close out Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s Phase 3 and will surely also bring in the big bucks for the fans and it looks like the movie’s premiere screening already has the critics gushing. Some are already claiming that Far From Home is hands down the best Spider-Man movie ever, with plenty of nods that will make comic book fans happy.
New Far From Featurette Goes Into Details About The New Suits
Spider-Man: Far From Home is poised to be the Spider-Man movie with the most costume changes. As the previews for the movie have already revealed, Peter Parker’s will don four different Spider-Man suits over the course of Far From Home‘s story and this new featurette gives us a better breakdown of what each of the suits have different. You can check out the video above.
The video is hosted by Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland and he takes us through a very quick rundown of how the four suits each fit into the story and function. Peter will apparently start off his journey in the Iron Spider suit, which makes sense as that’s the costume he was last seen wearing in Avengers: Endgame. After that he will go back to wearing the suit seen in Spider-Man: Homecoming. In regards to the old suit Spidey was seen wearing in Homecoming, Holland says that it was ‘near and dear‘ to his heart.
The majority of the screen time is dedicated to explaining Peter’s new black “Stealth Suit” which is given to him by Nick Fury. As has been revealed, the primary purpose of the Stealth Suit is to help disguise Spider-Man as some generic hero, so that no one begins to connect that the Web Head is appearing in Europe at the same time as Peter Parker’s coincidentally happens to be in that area. So far there’s been nothing particularly novel about the Stealth Suit’s functions that has been revealed so we just have to wait and see if Fury gives Peter any SHIELD spy tech to enhance his suit.
We also get a preview of the new Black and Red suit which will make its debut in Far From Home as well. Peter will be the one who designs his black and red suit when he’s ready to truly be the Spider-Man the world needs during Far From Home‘s finale. This featurette makes it clear that Peter makes the costume as a tribute to the late Tony Stark/ Iron Man. We have to say that is a good tribute to the man who gave up his life to save the universe.
Most fans understand that the new Spider-Man suits are nothing but a gimmick. But it looks like Far From Home has worked to put some actual substance to them. Also, those will sell a lot of toys too we are sure.
