Disney has put a hold on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 until it finds a new director to replace James Gunn and well, the fans don’t really seem to be too happy about it.

A new report states that the third installation of the Guardians of the Galaxy has been paused by the studio following the firing of James Gunn from the project in June. Gunn, as we all know, was fired from the project as his decade-old tweets on paedophilia and rape surfaced on the internet again. The tweets were initially unearthed by right-wing media Person Mike Cernovich. The film was earlier scheduled to go in its production stage next year while it was scheduled to release in 2020. However, the process seems to be delayed now as the studio is still looking for a new director.
