The infamous Oscars incident happened at the 94th Academy Awards last year when Will Smith slapped the comedian for making fun of his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. It all began when Rock appeared onstage to present an award and made a joke about the actor’s wife stating, “Jada, I love ya. G.I. Jane 2, can’t wait to see it.”
This led to the Emancipation actor walking up to the stage and the next thing he did was assault the Spiral star. Rock was unaware of the actress’s medical condition as she suffers from alopecia which leads to hair loss.
She has been candid about her condition to the public. The victim was quite shocked by the actor’s actions who never openly discussed the incident in the public. Later on, the Aladdin star publicly apologized to the comedian following his getting banned from attending the Oscar ceremonies for the next 10 years.
