“The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.” – Buddy The Elf
Well, I hope that you all must be aware of the phrase Elf on the Shelf.
But do you know what does this means?
Well, Elf on the Shelf is a tradition during Christmas time that involves toy elves being put down around the house during December to keep an eye on the kids’ whether they are being nice or are they being naughty.
So as December has already arrived and Christmas is right behind the corner, and there’s still a lot going on out there, we thought why not bring some fun and happiness in the lives of Animated Times subscribers.
So we have gathered some Elf on a Shelf photo that you might love but beware as it’s not for you kids to see.
But before we continue, let me explain to you;
What really does Elf on the Shelf means?
This idea was first introduced in 2005 by Carol Aebersold and her daughter Chanda Bell as a US children’s book.
The Elf on the Shelf incident captured a massive amount of popularity in the UK as well as many parts of the world.
In their book, Carol and her daughter explained that the magical Scout Elves help Santa Claus manage his nice list by taking note of the family’s Xmas experiences and taking it back to Santa at the North Pole.
Then every morning, these Scout Elves return to the families, and they settle themselves in a new spot, waiting and noting unless they are spotted.
This activity also shows parents, grandparents, and even guardians to either wake up a little early or stay up a little late when the kids have gone to bed to place the Elf in some different area or room as a sort of pranks.
This Elf on the Shelf activity is a favorite in various households.
It keeps the children busy searching for their Scout Elf every morning.
But this time, we at Animated Times thought, why not give people a twist.
Thus, we have curated 12 unsuitable Elf on A shelf photos that you might diffidence in showing to your kids.
Sounds ill-suited, then hop on with us to see it through your own goddam eyes…
1. An elf getting Thanos snapped out of existence? Nope, not for kids:
2. And — oh man! — kids don’t need the nightmares this one would bring!
3. Uh, move along, kids! Move along!
4. Adults seeing this Friends-themed setup: “LOL, Awesome!” Kids: “Uh, what exactly am I looking at here?”
5. Kids would dig the candy cane chair, but get the reference? Nope!
8. Would kids laugh at this? Yes. Do you need them telling everyone they meet about it? No.
Well, I literally had fun researching and writing this article but was a bit scared as to what would happen if kids got to see this.
