Brandon Routh is known for his roles in Superman Returns, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. The actor recently appeared in CW’s The Flash’s Armageddon storyline. In the film, Brandon Routh played the role of Zachary Stone who is forced to take care of a stray cat because the cat keeps showing up at his home. The cat turns out to be lucky for him since it allows him to meet Marilee White, who has recently been evicted from her house due to her cat. The film was deeply loved by the audiences due to which a sequel, The Nine Kittens of Christmas, was made and released last year.

The actor talked about returning for the sequel and stated to TV Fanatic,

“I was a little bit hesitant because I wanted to make sure it was a story worth telling. And also that the film was going to have the same energy, the same level of humor and fun as the first one did.”

The actor also talked about his co-star Kimberly Sustad and said,

“Kim is so funny and great, and we have great chemistry and both love comedic films. I think we work really well together.”

The actress also talked about Brandon Routh and said,

“We worked so great together. And actually, after, I was really sad, because I was like, ‘Well, are these two done now? Are Marilee and Zach done?’ I don’t know. But it was kind of sad to hang up the hat, thinking that we were. Yeah. He’s fabulous. He’s the nicest person in the world, and he’s so kind and generous, and he’s a great actor. I couldn’t ask for a better scene partner, really.”

Considering how well the two stars work together, it is possible that there might be a third film.
