MCU star Florence Pugh is all set to win millions of hearts with her performance in her upcoming film, Don’t Worry Darling. The film is set to release on September 23, 2022, in the USA, and so far, two trailers for the film have been released. However, the actress hasn’t shared even a single trailer on her Instagram, and it seems like it is because she doesn’t have a good relationship with the director, i.e., Olivia Wilde.

Florence Pugh hated Olivia Wilde for hooking up with Harry Styles

Page Six received information from an insider that the actress’ dislike towards the director is because of Harry Styles. The former One Direction member has been dating Olivia Wilde for a while. But before dating the singer, Olivia Wilde was engaged to Jason Sudeikis, and the two were together for seven years. The couple also has two children together, Otis and Daisy. However, despite their long-term relationship, the two split up in November 2020. The insider stated,

“I can tell you for a fact that Flo seeing Olivia and Harry all over each other on set did not go down well as Olivia was still with Jason when she first hooked up with Harry.”

Florence Pugh felt uncomfortable due to the director’s affair

According to several reports, Harry Styles is the reason behind the director’s split with Jason Sudeikis. Moreover, the insider also mentioned that things turned very awkward when the director’s family visited the couple at the start of the shooting. The insider stated,

“Jason and the kids visited Olivia on set at the beginning a few times, so I think this all made people feel a little uncomfortable.”

It is possible that the infidelity made Florence Pugh feel uncomfortable, due to which things turned sour between her and the director. The actress expressed her dislike by not even liking Olivia Wilde’s Instagram post of the full trailer. The MCU star also ignored the director’s praise for her performance and instead posted a teaser trailer for her other project, Oppenheimer.

Hopefully, the actress will resolve her issues with the director before the world premiere of the film at the Venice Film Festival in September.
