What If…? Finale Explains How Infinity Stones Work In The Multiverse

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has grown at an alarming rate. It is one of the most distinctive media franchises in the industry. The interconnected stories are fantastic. They demonstrate how effective world-building may enhance the storytelling process. The What If…? series is a fantastic example of this. Because the program is part of the MCU, we can turn to it to answer the puzzles that live-action productions haven’t been able to solve. Loki informed us that the infinity stones do not function at the TVA. The What If…? conclusion ultimately explains how Infinity Stones function in the MCU’s Multiverse.

The Finale Of What If…?

The conclusion of What If…? The episode began with Captain Carter reenacting the combat from Captain America: The Winter Soldier. This is followed by The Watcher arriving to pick up Captain Carter for the multiverse expedition. Then we jump from universe to universe until we get all of the team members needed to become the Guardians of the Multiverse. It is at this point that the entire strategy becomes clear. They try to catch Ultron’s attention before atomizing the stones with Gamora’s infinite crusher. They needed to steal the soul stone to fuel the Infinity Stone Crusher for their strategy to be executed. They are successful in obtaining the soul stone and employing the crusher, but their scheme fails for other reasons. The confrontation with Infinity Ultron is spectacular. The Guardians of the Multiverse, however, have other ideas. They fail to achieve their primary goal and pay dearly for their mistakes. As a result of their failure, an enraged Ultron attacks the Guardians with the full force of his abilities.

How The Infinity Stones Work in the Multiverse:

The infinity stones are not to be underestimated. Their strength is so tremendous that it can vanquish even the most powerful adversaries. Those who wield the power of these stones rule over reality, space, time, mind, and soul. They are also endowed with tremendous power. When the ruler of all these powers unleashes his wrath on simple mortals, the results might be disastrous. Ultron does not make a single mistake in the second half. Especially because the Guardians were able to incapacitate Ultron earlier by working together. Ultron has had enough of the antics and wants to annihilate these heroes.

The outlook is pretty gloomy. But we do get some intriguing moments and much more interesting information from this battle. Ultron uses the Time Stone to freeze the Guardians in place so he may collect the soul stone. Strange Supreme, on the other hand, possesses his own version of the stone that dispels Ultron’s abilities. The sequence in which this occurs presents some serious concerns.

Questions that were directed towards Loki:

Questions that we posed to Loki earlier in the process. We keep wondering how Infinity Stones operate, but what if…? Finale has finally provided us with a hint. The stones are unique to each world, with their own structures. Each variation differs somewhat. This implies that while each set is the most powerful in its own reality, it will still work in other universes where it exists. The reason why Ultron and Strange Supreme can fight on an equal footing is due to the fact that both of their stones are not native to the universe.

The Secret:

This indicates that if the pocket universe where Strange Supreme dwells had been the battlefield, Strange Supreme could have been able to defeat Ultron. Aside from that, Strange has spent a lot more time tinkering with time, thus he’s better at it. However, this demonstrates that Infinity Stones may battle each other and are truly tools for controlling the cosmos. Consider them universal keys to channel power rather than being the power itself.
