As per El Programa del Verano, Shakira recently attended the funeral of Rossana Kluivert’s father. Rossana Kluivert, who is married to former footballer Patrick Kluivert, recently lost her father and Shakira, being her close friend, was spotted at the funeral. On the other hand, the FC Barcelona player decided to skip the funeral and was spotted going on romantic dates with his girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti.
Shakira attended Rossana Kluivert’s father’s funeral
The host of the Spanish television channel Telecinco revealed that Shakira attended Rossana Kluivert’s father’s funeral while the footballer decided to skip it and went on a date with his girlfriend instead,
“Shakira’s visit to the funeral is striking. While we also know that Pique was on a date at the same time. This couple [Rossana Kluivert and Patrick Kluivert] have a close friendship with Shakira and Pique, they live very close and spend a lot of time together. The surprising thing is that Pique did not go. The relationship between the couples has been very close and it is normal for Shakira to go out of respect and affection for her friend.”
Sources say that the ex-couple does not even want to be in the same room together.

Former Dutch footballer Patrick Kluivert also remembered his late father-in-law on Instagram. He captioned the picture,
“Jorge Ana Lima, for so many years we lived together and shared so much love. Heartbroken, but honored to have had you as my father-in-law. Until we meet again.”
Gerard Pique skipped the funeral
Despite being so close to Rossana Kluivert and Patrick Kluivert, footballer Gerard Pique did not attend the funeral and reportedly went on a date with his girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti. Sources say the two have been dating for more than a year now and Shakira broke up with Gerard Pique due to his disloyal behavior. The singer is also planning to bring up a list containing all of Gerard Pique’s infidelities if they go to court over their children’s custody. The singer reportedly wants to move to Miami with her children while Pique wants them to continue living in Barcelona in their familiar surroundings.
