It’s quite amazing to see The Amazing Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield still making an appearance in these press rounds after the highly hectic year he has had, without even showing a single hint of exhaustion. Though the worst that had to go is over, Andrew Garfield recently made an appearance on the Ellen Show, and as you can guess, No Way Home inevitably came up at a point during the chat.

Andrew Garfield appeared as Spidey once again in No Way Home

Andrew Garfield had appeared in three films that all came out during roughly the same window in late 2021. First, there were The Eyes of Tammy Faye, where he had portrayed the infamous Jim Bakker opposite Jessica Chastain, and then we also had Lin-Manuel Miranda’s recently acclaimed musical Tick, Tick… Boom!, starring Andrew Garfield as Jonathan Larson.

Garfield’s performance turned out to be exceptionally good in both of those movies, but neither of the two would have been as taxing as his return in Spider-Man: No Way Home, a mega event that he had to keep a secret, even from someone like Emma Stone, who was his former partner. However, it looks like Garfield did reveal his secret to a couple of people.

“My dad, my brother, and my mother at the time. Yeah, just kind of us.”

As we already know the sheer magnitude of this particular experience, one must have been quite overwhelming of itself, and we are really glad that Garfield ultimately found the courage to tell his family, or he knew there was no way he could be hiding something like that from them altogether. Sadly, he did not elaborate any further on this paticular matter.
