The Police Blimp Should Return to The Batman Sequel

The Batman: Animated Series' Police Blimp

First seen in Batman: The Animated Series (1992), these police blimps are aero-vehicles used by the Gotham City Police Department for surveillance and tracking of the unaccountable criminals roaming the streets of Gotham. A large number of people now demand the return of these police blimps in the much-awaited sequel to the blockbuster hit The Batman (2022) that was able to give respect and honor to the DC comics.

Twitter fans across the world are demanding for these police blimps to return and watch over the dark nightscape of Gotham City. In the sequel to The Batman (2022), people are tweeting to the director of the movie, Matt Reeves to heed the call. The reason for the inclusion of these blimps? When we last saw Gotham City, it was drowning beneath pools of water. An explosion set off by The Riddler wreaked havoc across the seas and into Gotham City. And thus, Twitter concluded a need for the police blimp to appear in the next film (for the ease of GCPD…of course).

Setting the Vibe

Yes, you read that right. The fans feel that the addition of the police blimps mixes really well with the dark tone and the heavy atmospheric setting provided by Matt Reeves in The Batman (2022). And thus, the demands along with memes and tweets started buzzing The Batman fanbase.

Here are some of the tweets. See them for yourselves…

There has been no official confirmation for the release date of the next adventures of the hooded knight. The only piece of confirmed news available is that Robert Pattinson will be reprising his role as The Batman along with Matt Reeves heading the project as the director.
