So far, Ms. Marvel could not grab the number of audiences as Marvel projected. The comparison had to be there as fans have always anticipated a lot from the previous MCU movies and these shows on Disney+ are trying to create a new path for the new young avengers. Ms. Marvel has got all praise so far but the ratings for the project’s viewership in its initial days could not match the same heights as other MCU series on Disney+. It has turned out to be the worst rating that marvel studio has got for any of its shows.

A report from Samba TV revealed that 775k US households watched the premiere of Ms. Marvel. This is quite less than other MCU series even being s a hit amongst the GenZ. The viewer’s age group ranges from 20 to 24 watched at the highest rate of any MCU show. The new coming-of-age story of Ms. Marvel is only ahead of What If…?.

Loki still tops the list as the most-watched MCU series with 2.5 Million views. Whereas the recently released Moon Knight comes second with 1.8 Million views. WandaVision has 1.6 Million views, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has 1.8 Million, Hawk-Eye with 1.5 Million and What If..? with 281k. The data for the What If..? series is only on the basis of first-day audiences.
Ms. Marvel’s competition with other Disney+ series
Ms. Marvel is getting a competition with its cousin Star Wars series Obi-Wan Kenobi. Both the series are under Disney but Obi-Wan Kenobi had its new installments premiering on the same day and time. Ewan McGregor has become a fan-favorite character and it debuted with 2.14 million viewers making it the most-watched Disney+ series. Even though the fans have declared Ms. Marvel as one of the favorite MCU series, despite the review-bombing taking place and low-scoring performance.
The first two episodes of Ms. Marvel are now streaming on Disney+ and the next episode will release on Wednesday.
