Amber Heard can’t help but make news headlines every day, and would probably continue to do so till the embers of the infamous defamation case die down. This time, it’s about a response she gave on a TikTok video by none other than her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.
After the verdict in his defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard, Johnny Depp opened a TikTok account saying he was “moving forward”.

Heard couldn’t help responding to Depp’s message by arguing that domestic abuse victims will be afraid to speak out:
“I’m even more disappointed with what this verdict means for other women. It is a setback. It sets back the clock to a time when a woman who spoke up and spoke out could be publicly shamed and humiliated. It sets back the idea that violence against women is to be taken seriously”, a spokesperson for Heard responded to Depp’s message.

“And now, we will all move forward together,” he continued. “You are, as always, my employers and once again I am whittled down to no way to say thank you, other than just by saying thank you. So, thank you. My love & respect, JD.”
Amber Heard’s lamenting response
The Heard Circle didn’t let go of the matter easily, and a spokesperson furiously responded to Depp’s post.
“I believe Johnny’s attorneys succeeded in getting the jury to overlook the key issue of Freedom of Speech and ignore evidence that was so conclusive that we won in the U.K.,” the response said.
Statement in response to Depp's recent TikTok message to his fans.
"As Johnny Depp says he's 'moving forward,' women's rights are moving backward. The verdict's message to victims of domestic violence is…be afraid to stand up and speak out.”
