The actor donated $1600 to the youth football team for their kits and gear. The news was picked up by BBC news and the club was ecstatic about it. Mrs. Barton who set up the GoFundMe was very happy and could not believe it was the actor himself said,

 “I was nearly in tears. I know how much that money means to the club and the lads. Happy is an understatement.”
