X-Men Fantastic Four Return To Marvel

Since the last few months, it has been hinted that the Disney-Fox merger deal was just around the corner, but it kept getting pushed back due to reasons. As per a media release by Disney, it looks like we are just around a week away from the acquisition being finalised.

The historic deal is expected to close by midnight Wednesday ET on 20th March. Prior to that, it’s said that the given deadline for FOX shareholders to elect the form of consideration is 5 PM this Thursday. These holdings are expected to be distributed on Tuesday, March 19. Post that, the transaction will be over in less than 24 hours later.

The deal is expected to bring about some tremendous changes in the industry, but for Marvel, the way will be soon clear for Boss Kevin Feige to bring in Fantastic Four and X-Men into MCU.

In the last few months, Marvel’s next set of acquisitions has been the subject of a lot of speculation and hearsay, with some fans even hoping that Endgame will tease the new arrivals in the post-credits scene.

The idea sounds like a long shot, but once the third phase of Marvel it out of the way, the studio cane announce some projects in the coming months. Meanwhile, the Fox era for X-Men universe will enter its last time with Dark Phoenix on June 7, 2019.
