The Kardashians season 2 finale saw Kim Kardashian recalling the dress she wore the night she got pregnant with her first child. The American socialite got divorced from Kanye West earlierthis year. However, it did not prevent her from talking about the sweet moment that she shared with her ex-husband, that is the night when she got pregnant with North West (9). According to Kim K, she was gifted a blue dress by the Heartless rapper that she wore on the special night. The two had been attending the Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation Angel Ball at the time.
Kim Kardashian’s Blue Dress Story
Recently on the finale episode of The Kardashians season 2, Kim Kardashian showed her daughter North West a blue dress. The SKIMS co-founder recalled while showing the dress that it was the exact dress that she wore the night she got pregnant with her daughter. She told the 9-year-old, “You got in my belly the night I wore that dress”. The dress had been a gift from Kanye West for the ‘Angel Ball’ event in New York back in October 2012.
Although the two have already separated, Kim K did not hesitate to share the good memory with North West about her ex. As for the whole outfit, at the event, the reality star accessorized the blue dress with matching blue earrings. The whole look also included black pointy pumps and topping it all with a fishtail braid. The rapper on the other hand was photographed wearing a simple yet elegant-looking tuxedo beside his then-girlfriend Kim K. After a decade, the American socialite opened up saying that was the exact night when North West was conceived. In between, the Yeezy founder and Kim K had 3 more children – Saint, Chicago, and the youngest Psalm.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Relationship
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian had already met many years ago before their romance actually blossomed. After their first meeting back in 2003, Kim K and West did not start dating until 2012. At the time the American socialite had also been dealing with legal separation from then-husband Kris Humphries. Two years later the Praise God Singer and reality star tied the knot in Paris. Their marriage lasted about 7 years till Kim K decided to file a divorce from Ye in February 2021. According to US Weekly, the SKIMS co-founder had hinted at the reason behind the divorce afterward. In an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim K said,
“He should have a wife that supports his every move and travels with him and does everything, and I can’t.”
And although the Heartless rapper tried to make things work between them, every attempt failed. Even though the divorce has not been finalized yet, a judge declared Kanye West and Kim Kardashian legally separated.
