“You guys look so awkward on the red carpet together”: Mila Kunis Jealous of Husband Ashton Kutcher Getting Cozy With BFF Reese Witherspoon?
With the release date of their upcoming rom-com approaching near, Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher are all about the promotion. And to bring out the onscreen chemistry in the off-screen scenario the two have been giving their best. However, their recent promotional pictures seemingly show the awkwardness between them. And people pointed it out immediately that their red carpet pictures looked as if they had zero chemistry.
Following this, Kutcher and Witherspoon both responded and even provided their explanation. And it seems that the awkwardness probably stems from the two being long-time close friends. Moreover, celebrities in general are vulnerable to getting caught in dating rumors. This further complicated the situation and hence the result. According to Valentine’s Day actor his wife Mila Kunis also sent them a message regarding their lack of chemistry on the red carpet. But all in the name of fun obviously!
Mila Kunis’ Complain to Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon
The recent red carpet pictures of Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher seem to have disappointed the fans. The two actors have been attending promotional events for their upcoming rom-com Your Place or Mine. And while posing together for the photographers, the two looked awkward with each other. Therefore immediately after the release of the red carpet pictures, fans pointed out the lack of chemistry between the two. However recently, Kutcher explained the reason behind the photos coming out the way they did. And as it turns out, they were largely due to the fear of dating rumors. In an episode of the Chicks in the Office podcast, the actor revealed the reason for the awkwardness saying,
“If I stand next to her and put my hands in my pockets so there’s no chance that that could be the rumor”
The That 70’s show star also shared that his wife Mila Kunis joined the fans’ opinion and messaged both him and Witherspoon. Kutcher said that Kunis wrote to them complaining,
“You guys look so awkward on the red carpet together”
But clearly, this was meant to be a funny joke by the No Strings Attached actor. As she is a very close friend of Witherspoon.
What is The Upcoming Rom-Com All About?
The upcoming rom-com Your Place or Mine will be a story revolving around two best friends named Debbie and Peter. They are played by Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher respectively. The two are supposed to be polar opposites of each other in terms of their personality and lifestyle. Both being busy with their lives, one day decides to swap lifestyle with each other. And in the process end up realizing what they are really lacking in their lives. The flick is directed by Aline Brosh McKenna who directed other rom-com such as Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, etc. Furthermore, the upcoming film is set to premiere on Netflix on the 10th of February.
