Jenner launched Kylie Cosmetics in 2014 when she was merely 18 years old, and the brand made her a billionaire in simply 4 years. Remarkable when you read the stats but what can’t be ignored is the generational wealth that went behind the setting up of this “self-made” empire.

They had plans for her to become the first billionaire in the family.
Kylie Jenner has been called a big brainchild of the cunnings of both Kris Jenner and the SKIMS founder more than once. A leaked music video of Kanye West ft. Tyga’s Feel Me even shows the Kylie Cosmetics founder walking out of the SKKN owner gave birth-giving parts, symbolizing that the former most popular sister gave birth to the upcoming sensation.

Many reports have often suggested that every little step that the KarJenners have taken in their lives has been dictated by their mother to gain the maximum gross profit, be it scandals or babies. So it was not an exaggeration when Ellen DeGeneres said the same on her show.
Soon after Kylie Jenner was announced to be the youngest self-made billionaire, she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with her mother. The talk show host unhesitatingly said to Kris,
“You’re the brains behind this entire organization here. But this is crazy. So Kylie says to you that she’s interested in makeup. That’s what you wanted to do. So you’ve got all these sisters who are successful in doing all these things. Suddenly, you, you were here four years ago, just launching the cosmetics line… Four years later, you’re a billionaire.”
DeGeneres passed a real subtle jibe implying how adolescent’s entrepreneurial dreams were made true by giving her a legit company to her name and all the exposure in the world via a successful reality TV show and a bevy of sisters, all rich, successful, and famous in their own way. Self-made indeed!
