In an unexpected turn of events, Zack Snyder himself chose to speak out on the matter. He recently shared a photo of the physical movie reel – undoubtedly confirming its existence. The reels contain scenes from the Snyder cut, and naturally, Snyder doesn’t stop there with his say on the matter. He used his account on Vero’s growing platform to answer fan questions and concerns about his Snyder cut.
Zack Snyder Confirms Batman’s Fate
One fan asked about Batman’s supposed fate in the Justice League sequels. As a response, Snyder confirmed that Ben Affleck’s Batman death by Darkseid in the sequels. The fan had asked Snyder about past references Snyder made about Batman having to sacrifice himself in battle with Darkseid. Essentially, this battle took place in the Justice League sequels. Snyder reported that “we always had the plan we could see that in the final chapter.”
